Description

Protection panels protect sensitive electronic equipment from overvoltages in indoor

racks and outdoor remote terminals. These front access protection panels are configured

for industry standard 5-pin protector modules (sold separately). Connectorized and non

connectorized versions are available for installation on 19-in. or 23-in. racks.

Application

Protector panels are used in central office, building entrance and remote terminal applica-

tions and can be rack mounted to protect personnel and equipment from abnormal

voltages and currents (ie., lightning strikes, on incoming cable pairs).

Note: Other protection panels, as well as connectorized and non-connectorized custom configura-

tions can be provided. Call Emerson for additional information.
