Valve Body Classification
Face-to-face dimensions for Type A11 valve is in
compliance with MSS SP-68 and API 609
standards.
Valve bodies are designed for installation
between standard pipe flanges: for 3 inch through
24-inch sizes (ASME B16.5); for sizes greater
than 24-inch (MSS SP-44 or API 605) as specified
on valve order
Seal Temperature Capabilities
PTFE (Standard) Seal: For application ranges
from 62 to 232_C (80 to 450_F)
Phoenix III Seal: For application ranges from
73 to 232_C (100 to 450_F)
High-Temperature Seals:
Standard: Metal or NOVEX to 820_C (1500_F)
Optional: 174PH H1150M to 454_C (850_F)
Cryogenic Seals:
CTFE: 254 to 149_C (425 to 300_F)
NOVEX: 254 to 260_C (425 to 500_F)

ENVIRO-SEALr Packing
This optional
J PTFE or J graphite packing
system provides improved sealing, guiding, and
transmission of loading force to control liquid and
gas emissions (see figure 7). See Bulletin
59.3:041 ENVIRO-SEAL Packing Systems for
Rotary Valves for more information. Consult
factory for larger sizes; they may require a special
valve body.
