Short message manager (SMM)

If so configured, the Microface controller can send text

messages (SMS) about unit status or alarm conditions,

directly to the display of a GSM mobile phone, allowing quick

and cost effective maintenance. The Hirolink Light Interface

and a GSM modem are required.

Extended alarm board

For applications where remote indication of alarms is

required, a special extended alarm board is available.

As standard, a volt-free warning contact is available for

remote indication of High Temperature, Low Temperature

and Heater Overtemperature. A further contact is available

for remote indication of High Pressure, Low Pressure, Fan

Failure and Controls Failure.

The Alarm Board allows individual alarm outputs (up to five,

either normally closed or normally open) for:

High or Low refrigerant pressure; High Room Temperature;

Low Room Temperature; Fan Failure, Clogged Filter Alarm

(if installed).

No display

Where the units are connected in a network and controlled

from a central point or where a display is not required for

security purposes, the units can be ordered with no display.

Humidity control

If required, the unit can be supplied to control temperature and

humidity in the conditioned area, it is supplied as standard for

temperature control only.

External temperature sensor

An additional sensor can be provided to monitor the external

temperature and provide the information to a central network.

The sensor is not used in the control sequence of the unit.

Interconnection cables

A full range of interconnecting cables is available for

applications where the units are configured as Run and

Standby or where the controller display is mounted remotely

from the unit, consult Liebert Application Engineers for

specific details.

Filter clog switch

An adjustable diaphragm-type, differential pressure switch

can be fitted to initiate a change filter alarm when a

pre-selected pressure drop across the filter bank is exceeded.

Special colours

The standard galvanised steel cabinet is available with the

following range of powder coated colours:

• Olive Green (RAL 6002)

• Blue Green (RAL 6004)

• Moss Green (RAL 6005)

• Bright Grey (RAL 7035)

• Sepia Brown (RAL 8014)

• Pure White (RAL 9010)

Epoxy coated coils

If the unit is to be installed in a potentially corrosive

environment or close to salt water, epoxy/acrylic coated fins

on the condenser and evaporator coil are available to

maximise unit operating life.
