(3) When ambient temperature is below –40 °F (–40 °C), a core processor or Model 2400S transmitter must be heated to bring its local
ambient temperature to between –40 °F (–40 °C) and +140 °F (+60 °C). Long-term storage of electronics at ambient temperatures
below –40 °F (–40 °C) is not recommended.
(4) The temperature limits shown apply only when the electronics are not covered (for example, by insulation). If the sensor case must be
insulated, use extended mount electronics.
